Default ae86 starting problems

My friend started the motor then stalled. Started it back up, and stalled it again!. Now the car doesn't start. it cranks but just wont start. have any of you had this problem? The car is a 1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S.

Might be a loose connection...my Supra would turn over but not start when I forgot to reconnect the coil pack

it can only be a few different things.

Spark
- check plugs
- check order of wires
- cap.. check contacts
- rotor check contact

fuel could be a culprit, but all injectors would have to be clogged at once, the tank is empty, or the fuel is stopping at the fpr or filter for all the injectors to shit at once... Pump maybe bad or not coming on with ignition?

the dist. cap has like a blister thing, probably from the heat coming fromt he exhaust manifold. Will this keep the car from starting? because it started and drove fine until "the guy" stalled my motor TWICE!!@$#@# and that is when i got this problem

If "the guy" stalled the car by not slipping the clutch right when starting off, he may have caused the timning belt to jump time if the engine stalled abruptly. Do you have a "check engine light"?

he was going in reverse and then braked and stalled the motor because he left in in R and took his foot off the clutch and braked. when I try to start the car, the engine light, brake light, and battery light comes on.

the car gets fuel but no spark. What I did to test the spark was pulled a spark plug out and had the wire pluged in and touched the spark plug to the chassis and no spark. I changed spark plus but same thing. Does anybody have a 4age distributor or aw11? Or do you guys think a cap and rotor will fix it?

If the car isnt running then you wont get spark anyways.. it dosent spark because its shorted.....

Just go through the list i posted earlier. Replace all spark related items, they are so cheap its not even a bother to replace everything...
