well here it is,
my cuz back home in St. Croix had the same rear end set up and i'm sorry to say he distroyed 3 of those thing with his turbo 4ag monster. now he is doing the 8.8 ford rear set up. and yes i know the axles are longer and you will have to do over the brackets, but it's worth it in the long run. mikes drive line does all the work as far as shortening and resplining. the charged me $325.

o well good luck on your search bro.

broke what? celica supra rear end? well my other corolla i had made 400WHP and that rear end had been in the car for years, plus i know a bunch of other people that run that rear end with no problems

if i cant find a celica supra in the next few weeks, i guess ill go with a shortened 8.8, or maybe a 240s IRS

when your talking about drag race applications anything will break no matter how strong. he's not going to be dragging the car allthe time so i think the supra diff will be fine. as far as the cressida goes; the only cressida's that came solid axle are the wagons, and they still had drum brakes, not sure on the ring and pinion size. but if its the same you can always buy the disc brake stuff new and convert it.

the reason i said what i said is because i saw him on the 1320 before which means he will be there again, and it only takes one good launch to break that thing. but then again my cuz was on 26" slicks thats why he broke so much.

if you don't find what you want just pm me if you want the 8.8 ford. good luck hunting.

the SR corolla will make 280-300 WHP/TQ, which will be low for the 7.5".... the car wont see the drag strip outside of TR track days.... its going to be a function built drift car
