Just one last ditch effort that always works for me....
Find the relay for the fan and use a volt meter to check for polarity. Then use either a wire or another small object to by pass it. Just last week I had to do this on my 95 fireturd. (Sure you'll have to take it out when you stop your car and put it back in when you start it) But if it's your cooling fan alteast you'll know!

yea ima do that today...but no one has told me wuts so bad about an rx8...i checked out rotory motors and its different but i like it

 

The RX8 isnt a bad car. I personally think its one of the BEST buys on the market today.

Here is why.

Its "quick". Its not uber fast but its plenty enough for fun
Its really fun to drive, it almost feels like miata lightness in the corners.
Its practical!!! This is one of the VERY FEW practical sports cars. 4 full seats (I can fit in the back). And a good size trunk.
It can be quiet and smooth


Its not a rocketship, its not the fastest thing out there... so what... Its a good value buy and it does REAL LIFE THINGS really well.

Personally though there is another car for similar pricing that does all the jobs a lot better, is faster, AND gets better gas mileage.... Only downside is no navigation..


The pontiac GTO.. and now with 400hp its even BETTER than last year. (without 400HP it was better than the RX8 in every way)

If I was fresh outta college and had a great job I'd buy the GTO for my daily, its a great daily driver thats practical to have a family with..

 

Don't get a RX8, get a 3s swap, you'll spank RX8's all day long. Believe me ask Jabdrifter about the 3s swap. Ha! Jace fyi there is a chance that it could be the head gasket. Cylinder compression could be escaping through to the cooling system. Rickster I'd get a compression test just to make sure its not your head gasket. Besides you know what happens to a rotary engine around 60k?
