Default Stock 1jz Dyno Run

I just got back from the dyno to do some baseline pulls. I'm happy being my only major mod is open downpipe.

incase you cannot see
My 1st run 281.94whp, 272.25tq

2nd Run 277.28whp, 269.82tq
3rd Run

And take a look how freaking rich they run!!!! I knew it was rich but didn't think it would be off the chart.

Tomorrow I'll be installing the stock 2jz cams and putting my afc in there to lean it out a bit.

btw this is also posted on supra forums.

Where did you get the downpipe? Who made it? What does Race Related charge for dyno time?

The downpipe is stock. I'll be going back soon with a 3' dp.

for 3 pulls it was 75 bucks. IMO I think thats pricey but it's the same as what coastal charges.

I didnt read "open downpipe" all I saw was "downpipe" so I assumed you had a 3"er already..

Damn these are easy to get power out of...fix the A/F, get a dp (actually, someone on SupraForums makes special y-pipes for 1JZs too) and who knows how much more power you'll get out of them. And better fuel economy...at that rate, I hardly wonder if you get fireballs at every shift

Yeah, the fire balls are cool, but probably a little excessive.

I MAY try to make a y pipe for the car but its probably not worth my time since I will be going single soon. I guess you never know.

Hey guys,as far as the price goes it is expensive to keep these dynos running and updated, just last month before the supra dyno day we spent just under a $1000.00 on a new wide band, new wide band pump and new software revision.9 months ago when we moved it it cost me $4000.00(concrete truck, back hoe, lift truck,rebar,liners,etc...) and I did most of the work myself. On a typical dyno day we charge 500.00 for the day,I pay 3 people and work myself and make a couple hundred. So the moral of my story is that we are not laughing are way to the bank.I want everyone happy, and I want to be here for atleast another 20 years so the $75.00 for 3 w/ A/F is fair IMO.And I am fairly certain it is the going rate although I would be willing to meet anyone elses prices.

Thanks again for your business.

James
