I think it would be cool if someone stuck a 2JZ up everyone's ass who has asked that question. But it prolly doesn't fit there either.

well...for the fact that i've seen a northstar V8 in a fiero......she had it parked next to her husbands SC NSX at HIN....maybe i should of asked her why she had a shitty fiero.

and reading some of these other threads.....why is that there are so many smart ass replies? like mr2driver....what if i asked that simple question....maybe i dont have the knowledge...so i'm asking..that is what this forum is for....would you wanna shove one up my ass? It was a sarcastic remark. I am not seriously upset or anything. I guess some people just don't understand sarcasm. Now, let's view this question. It's not a question like, "Are the front lips interchangeable?" The question might as well be "Can you put a jet engine in the MR2?" There are many other sane unknowledgeable questions that can be asked. Being unknowledgeable has nothing to do with fitting a 2JZ in the back of an MR2. All you have to do is look at the size of the two motors, and MR2 driveline and it is pretty obvious. It's not like fitting a sqaure into a circular hole, it's more like trying to fit a square twice the size of the circle into the hole. I am also pretty sure that tamparacing is not the last source on the internet to find common sense.

 

fieros are shitty and if you worked on cars besides sucking dick all day you would know this , and if I am not mistaken you have said to ppl before that there car is shitty or a pos too so fuck off.

 

Over the internet, especially without the use of emoticons, its much harder to tell sarcasm from not. I've had this experience on other boards too; fights start when they dont realize they were messing around.

I'm almost postitive the 2JZ would fit, however, everything else probably would need $k to fabricate; getting a tranny in there AND at the right geometric angle, half shafts, and everything in the back (such as AC) that isnt motor related specifically, but takes up room the 2JZ would need. I personally dont like convertables or even targa tops, so what I would do is make a hardtop for it and use the room from where the top was to give more space.
