Default older mr2?

I was just looking at them and they are mid engine and have a good wheel base and jsut seem like they would handle like a go kart. Is there any flaws with them? Why don't you hear to many people talk about them or own them?

The 91-95 or the 85-89

I have 3 AW11's 1 85 , 1 86 , 1 87

There great cars and are knwon to go well past 200k miles . They handle awesome and are easy to maintain .

A well maintained Turbo will go form anywhere from 5-7 for a 91 to 7-15 for a 93+ Turbo ...

The 93's changed to larger brakes , re-designed rear susp , LSD trans in Turbo models and a better head design .

The N/A's only got the brakes from the 91-92 Turbo models , and a slightly re-vised motor for 5 more HP . If you plan on doing serious modifications just start with a 93+ N/A and do a Turbo swap .

hey just wondering but im guessing for a motor swap you have to drop the engine on a mkii right? and also do the turbo modles have different trannys as the na?
