Ya, you are the guy on supraforums whom is also building a 1jz.

Good luck selling the engine.

Don't think i need any parts from the 7mgte for the swap so ecu, harness, and alternator is all there to sell. Wanted to sell the whole engine at once but it will be fine i guess to just sell parts. Guess i'll let the alternator go for $90 (paid 169.21 just so you know how much you'll be saving). Just post what part you guys want and i'll update with whats gone and still for sale.

note: you have to go to xatracing in tampa to get the part and pay there. So you'll have a chance to get a look at it to see if you want it or not.

Note: Also I have to talk to the guys at xat to make sure what parts that are in good enough condition to sell.

psifactor: ya, thanks, i wanted to do the swap myself but my pops wanted to get it done now but my dad figured that having to learn to do it and actually get it done would take to long so he wanted a shop to get it done. But right now i'm mapping out a turbo which i will be putting on, just need to get a design for a manifold goin.

Hey, you want to do a stainless steel manifold from wasabi garage. Maybe we can get a discount. I purchased an HSK one on ebay but the guy was scamming so I never got the manifold but did get my money back.

There are some pictures on Supra forums of the Ckandersons single set up.( he use wasabie garage's manifold, the guy makes them custom order) i wanted them to use a better grade stainless steel than they used on their previous ones, but I need three people to go in with me.

You will need your harness there are many connectors they will need to chop off to make the jumper box. Also you will need the 7m oil pressure sender since the 1jz only has a dummy light.

Just out of curosity how many 1jz swaps has xat done?

Do you know how much i'll need to have for the manifold. I saw ck's set up and it looked nice. Was the only manifold i was looking at other than custom making one. If you give me a price than i could respond if i can or not. Also need a time of when we would get them. Cause if i save for about one more month i should have close to $800 in total, if it's like in a week i might not have enough for it. Will see though.

Not sure how many swaps of the 1jz they have done but they said they just got a new mechanic that was a master tech for toyota so that might help. Hoping they do a good job. Will most likely check the harness and other nid bits to see if they did the "lets get this out of our shop quick" or the "lets do a good job" thing going. Hoping they solder the harness instead of splice but will check.

Note: engine sold

I was guessing the manifold would be around 700-800 or so. I'm not looking to do it immediatly, but would like to soon. I'll have Chris flubyux2 contact him again and see if he can give us a price quote on two manifolds using the good grade SS (which is less likely to crack) I want to say 302SS, but I forget the actual grade.

what turbo are you using? Injectors? I was able to find mkiv 550cc's for 100 bucks, but I may even need bigger than that.

Maybe just double check to make sure they are sodering every connection and using heat shrink, or it may mean many problems down the road. Flubyux2 did all of mine and it turned out great. Not one electrical problem.

orion why would you need any manifold for any 1jz? and they do make ones for twins.
