ok all i now have a 89 rolla sr5 AE92 5 spd full stock


i am new to the toyota world so lemme know how these cars are, pros and cons to em, tricks and what types of modding can be done

for one its front wheel drive-which isnt all that bad but it sucks for the 4ag that is in it
engine can hold about 200-250 to the wheels before it will start crappin out (if not tuned/ regularly)
they can be turboed
i wouldnt recomend nitrous
or you can swap in the 4agze supercharged version for an extra 45+ hp
or 20v 4ag

The ae92 is a very solid car with ALOT of aftermarket support. You can get any 4age in there with no problems, you can have a 6 speed trans, you can get all manner of suspension from like 1,000,000 companies.

They are good auto-x cars also. If FWD is your preference I can't think of a better corolla. the AE92 is the BEST fwd corolla no question.

You should come out to a meet and get to know everyone.

i just bought a ae92 and i think it is great but i also have a ae86 and a te72(almost) all coupes



well the car is like aphxero said the best front wheel drive rolla
there are tons of after market products for the 4age wich comes in the gt-s version and the swap would not be hard 'cause it is the same engine w/ a diff head so welcome my friend and enjoy








about the te72 i will get it soon as i can pay some other bills

 

Its has a 4AF twin cam cam small valve motor ...

The GE/GZE swaps right in . They are pretty decently handling cars only bested by the AE82 FWD FX16 GTS for handling .

 

well i have no idea what motor i have lol is it the 4age? i mean do yall know just from the make and model or is there something that will tell me what it is??? or if some of u gurus know how to tell from the vin number lemme knowall hat i know is that it is carbuerated and it looks like a single cam
