motor seems quick but man there is like no low end at all and it needs hella extreme tuning, but top end it aint too bad

 

Its slow as fuck!

 

Youc an get a 4age easily. any 4qage will bolt in including the 20v. Simple swap if you have all the parts.

 

Same motor as my dads Corolla .

I take it your is an 89 then ? They are slow as balls I got my dads to run a 17.9 at BMP After about 10 runs .

I suggest a GTS swap along with the rear discs and do a nice suspension setup if you plan on keeping it for any length of time . I'd rather put a 4A-GZE SuperCharged motor in it if I was going to do a swap .

 

yeah it is, but I think I can get it to run quicker than that, maybe low 17's or if i dont miss any gears and i powershift it possibly high 16's

I just need to tune it up and throw some sort of CAI setup on it and an exhaust and i think it will definatly be somewhat respectable

I can already tell ya it is quicker than the probe and the probe ran low 17's

but yeah I definatly wanna get rid of this carbed dog of a motor lol

 

No , its high/mid 17's ... My dads has a 2.25 straight pipe and a fresh tune up on it .

Its not really made to go straight line anyway . The AE92 2-Door variants are the Sport/Economy model of the line-up the GTS being the sportiest and the SR5 behind it a little bit .
