From what I understand, It's be discussed on Scionlife. The awd bB in japan only came with a 1.3 litre engine. Yep, these are meant to be slow......(edit) That guy was wrong. It's a 1.5 awd. But none the less...... Still slow.

was it AWD? man i wish they were AWD here. i love my rav4 AWD! my FF scion xB is jsut sooo diff from what i am used to.

Honestly could not imagine this car with even more drivetrain loss. I'm guessing an AWD 1.5 xB would be putting down an impressive 70-75hp at the wheels.

 

Still it may be kind of cool I guess..... But would have to be a turbo thrown in there some where. Then would need some aftermarket internals for the 1.5. I've seen plenty of impressive #'s out of honda 1.5's, but they have a huge selection for internals: Block guards, Pistons, Rods, etc. etc. etc........ But will they make them for an echo engine? It wouldn't be a super fast car, but definitely fun to drive.
