350 would be enough, maybe 400..
It would be cheap to just make log manifolds for intake and exhaust just to GITTERDUN...

That is why when people come on supraforums asking about buying an NA supra and turboing it people always give them the answer that it is much easier to buy a turbo model first but that is also because of the better brakes, and everything else.
You can also NA-T this with a new kit thats out from boostlogic, it has a tubular manifold etc.. only thing is that its for an NA supra or sc300 so i'm not sure if it will clear everything in the engine bay of the GS. Might as well take a look though. www.boostlogic.com

Boost Logic is going to take about 4-6 weeks after I place my order to get my kit finished and sent... but I will be the first Supra with their kit.
Id rather not do a kit, the price premium is way up there just casue its a "supra" ooohhhh....
hopefully I can stay in the 2.5-3K range for my pieced tougether kit

FYI - That tranny will not hold 400hp, sorry.
If you look in the St Pete Times there is a 93 SC300 5 speed for sale $6900. Same engine, better tranny, just upgrade the clutch.
