Guys , go supra... I mean no affence to anyone who owns nissans , but i fucking hate them.. Plus not too mention , you can thwo a baseball ont he high way and i promise u could probably hit 3 of them.. You see a suped nissan drive by and everyones like theres a 240 , or a 300 , but u see a supra go by , and they in fucking aww.. Ill never sell my supra.. especially not for an s13 or anything along those lines. theres so little of us on the road , why join the unpopular majority , when the underdogs would woop their asses.
well see that waz my problem...my first car(in gallery) waz a 1987 Supra Turbo Automatic> that started the problems , tranny blew body waz shitty, than Headgasket went, then had a rod knock before all waz said and done...sold her for $700 ..so thought it out and went Nissan for a little for reliability so i can save up some $$ and put some in and make the 240 a nice little drifter than sell it and find me a nice decent shape mk3 supra turbo targa

hey you know what car is a REALLY good dori car.... a Supra... no kidding
the first mod to any MK3 should be an HKS 2.0 stopper and ARP 220 KPSI head studs... before you do ANYTHING else. i tried a stock-ish HG and ARP bolts and that didnt do the trick. trying to take the easy way out never works.

yea.... i thought my car would do fine w/ a resurfaced head too... but guess what, it didnt. and yea, i used the 190k PSI ARP head bolts, torqued down to 85 lb/ft using Moly lube on the threads, the bolt head and the washer. and that bitch still blew, it blew worse than it did the first time.
i tried to take the easy way out. this time, everything is getting machined properly and im using the best headgasket readily available and the best fasteners you can get...generally speaking.
and im preparing it for 800-900 BHP. im sure you all laugh at me and mock me... but how much HP have JE forged pistons been known to handle? How much HP have you heard of shot-peened steel rods handling? How much HP have you heard of the stock crank handling? better yet... have you ever heard of Shot peened rods, JE pistons and stock 7M cranks causing catastrophic failures at high HP levels? trust me, overkill is the way to go. thats why i have 4 AWG cable running my fuel pump
