except, be different and put on a Z20 Soarer front end and make it a 1JZ... avoid the whole headgasket and low rpm thing associated w/ 7M's

the only way to get big power out of a 7M and be safe is to build it... for the money it takes to build a 7m, you could have a 1JZ sitting in your driveway... all youll need then is a friend to help drop it in.

btw, if i find a 91-92 black on black... i aint callin anyone, im keepin it to myself.

 

I have to say i'm in the same perdicermint. should i throw more money at my s13 or buy another mk3. the only reason i don't want another mk3 is that they're tanks. my 87 targa turbo weighed 3800lbs with me in it at the track. what a pig. now if i could find a 86.5 non targa i might get one again. instead of 3800 they weigh 3500, which ain't much better. yo could get a mk2 but then you have to deal with crappy rear suspension.

yea Bill, i know what you mean. youre not the only one who wants to find an 86.5 to build from.

the nice thing about a supra is... you can just add more power. now if i had a civic or altima or something liek that, id be shit out of luck from a power stand point and id have to remove all the weight i can.

i guess its a matter of personal taste. if you can handle driving a tank, go for the supra. if you really dont like big heavy boats, stick w/ a S13. i like both small light and nimble cars as well as big heavy and numb cars... so i have an FC that handles like its on rails and a supra that is blowed up.

 

well my option has been to just set up the s13 for someone else suspension, etc.. which is what im going to continue doing for a few more weeks or a couple months, pretty much the left over things to do r> s14 seats,tint,install s-techs,install system and maybe get her repainted and maybe some intake, i have a nice tax return coming so most of the above should be done then the 13 might be up for sale
