Why is it you guys like the 3TC?
All ive ever heard up untill the past month was that the 3TC was a worthless scrapheap of a motor.....
How come we have this large surrge of 3TC fanatics? is there any basis for their fanaticism? What do these motors dyno at? anyone have timeslips? anything?
Dont just tell me you smoke hondas and blah blah its fast blah blah...
I want timeslips and dynos...

With proper tuning the 3tc can be a good engine. They take to forced induction and nitrous very well...

still.. I dont examples of ONE puerto rican who has many many many thousands of tens of thousands of dollars into the motor.. Right now there is a puertorican Z31 running 6's but most streetable Z31's are crap next to their S13 counterparts...

my 3tc toy just blew up last night.......ggrrrrrrrr.......2 big detenations and a huge black puff of smoke and no compression now it smokes lots of blue.............................................. .and i was doing about 35mph when it did it.......P.O.F.S......

i'm one of those guys that have an 3tc in my ae86. for what i have my car is pretty quick. everyone will have there own opinion.
my thing is, why hate on something you don't understand. from what i read none of you people gave me a good reason why this motor is a POS. my boy in orlando has an 3tc powered 83 rola turbo fi (fuel injected). he uses the car as a daily driver, and the car never broke down on him. the last run it did down a track maybe 2 months was no time cause he doesn't have the right cage for a ten sec run. he ran a super charged and nos saleen mustang and walked all over his ass and took the driver's $3000 from him cause he was thinking the same shit you guy are thinking about the 3tc. since it was a no time run we don't know the second but the car went 136mph @18psi.
ANY QUESTIONS?

I raced this S2K , Supra , and FD the other night . I had a 3TC in my Skyline . I walked them bishs and jumped the bridge .
