Default looking for 1jzgte...

Hey all, I've never been in this forum, (mostly in Nissan Tech) but I've got a friend of mine looking for a 1jz swap w/ 6 speed tranny, cut harness is fine asl long as all sensors and plugs are intact. please pm if youve got a lead.

Thanx

you wont find a Getrag v160 with the 1jz that is for sure. you will have to get that on your own. the 1jz came with a R154 5speed.
the Getrag will bolt up though. if it is in a mk3 he will have to beat the trans tunnel a little and cut the shifter hole about 4-6 inches back in the body. he will also need the mk4 tail shaft as well i belive.
you can also use the w58 5speed trans from the mk4 N/A. the r154 is better though.

the shifter doent have to be set back, it just takes a little innovation. dont take the easy way out with cutting a hole.
