Default To mod or not to mod?

I'm currently considering bringing my '91 celi back from the grave and need some imput as to what would make for a good project? All and (almost)any ideas welcome to help me fall back in love with my car. Looking for 'been there done that', 'oh hell no that can't be done', 'never though of that', 'wouldn't it be cool to see', well you get the idea. FWD, RWD, AWD, meek setup-to you really went to far with that setup. So guys help me think of some good things to ponder. Also, remember that i'm not quite as knowledgeable as everyone else here. So if ya could break it down a little bit for an idiot here that would be greatly appreciated.

3sgte swap, its pretty straightforward, a 3sgte is the motor from an MR-2 turbo or celica all-trac, very powerful motor that can take lots of boost, www.celica.net, ask questions there.

Ok, its a start; and thanks for the imput. How bout something that's not so common or has never been done before, that's kind of where I was headed with the post.

I agree with this. Also if it is the RWD one do a rotary swap I have seen very fast ones like this. Get the rotary bridge ported with a 4 barrel holley carb and some other stuff you'll be straight.

Dave, not trying to be a dick but instead of throwing up at peoples idea's could ya actually be constructive and contribute something to the cause? Beleive it or not the SR is a very good platform to work with.

not that bad, but when you already have a platform like a 3S-GTE that bolts in to work with, whats the point??
