Ask any of the real drifters that have seen me Assdrag the fock out of my AE92 at Builders square if I can't sling my FWD around . Its not drifting though , as soon as your momentum is gone = snap back in line , getting on the throttle does nothing

 

that is why i prefer to speed into a turn before swinging it to make sure the momentum lasts thruough a large portion of the turn thanks again maybe you should press the throttle pedal a little harder next time

At builders square people tend to come in pretty fast . I came in faster than almost everyone because I needed the speed to slide the 1st turn

ff drifting not = to drifting, or else they wouldnt call it ff drifting and it would be lumped into the drifting category. i assdragged my 93 camry one time back in the day at brandon place (home of the infamous miata killing fence) and it wasnt that hard to do it in the wet, but no one will ever be able to hold an ff drift as long as an FR setup.

most FF cars have shitty weight distribution anyways, with FR there is at least some weight in the rear with the diff/subframe/stuffs.

when all's said and done, correctly drifting in a rwd car isnt as easy as it sounds. and i dont count powersliding/slinging the ass end out around a u-turn or parking lot medians as drifting. it has to be faster, longer lasting, more sideways, and in the dry. something i cannot do yet, but some here can

 

docjab did you buy the issue of drifting magizine....even though is was an ok mag...there was and article in there about "drifting you civic" and i believe the final conclusion they came to is....YOU CANT DRIFT A FWD CAR!!!! so stop saying you can
