Go into the MK1 forum and there is a MK1.5 forum which is all the 3S swapped MK1 . One guy has a GT30 with full mods .
You need custom mounts and you can use the SC tranny as the E51 fomr the SC is the same tranny internally as the 3S . You just need to use the 3S bellhousing on the E51 .
Our buddies stock Gen2 3S with just crappy exahust and 11psi ran 13.5's after driving from Tampa to Alabama for the 2002 MR2 meet . IC is the worst you need to do trunk mount or something more than likely

an AW11 w/ a 3SGTE eh... not bad i guess. i would recommend swaping the 3S, you can work your Supra-based mojo on it since it is 2/3's of a 7MGTE. Id assume virtually ever mod you do on the supra would work for the 3S... albeit, only 2/3's of the gain
Oh, Water to Air RMIC. I think Holley makes some side scoops that actually stick out and grab air for the intake.
oh, and if you know how to weld, use a cutting torche and a hammer, you can put this in there

I plan on making about 500rwhp with forged pistons and eagle rods , it is totaly possible and it would hand most any street car its ass and handle very nice , i will gut the piss out of it and have one light mr2 with tons of power , so I will take my 2/3 hp and be happy , p . s I can weld

All that has to be done is the custom mounts nad IC adn exhaust .
Try and get a Celica AllTrac Alt bracket though . So you don't have to cut the big notch in the frame .
You can make well over 400RWHP on a stock block . 525 RWHP has been made on a stock block .
With rods and stuff it will be much more reliable though .
If you haev any questions hit me up with a PM . BTW I was at my freinds house when I posted last I was FCDrifter .
