cool, id like to have one to interchange at the shop. the way it plays out to me is all the torque will go to the front wheels and at least allow me to load the car on the dyno to get accurate a/f readings. and after looking at the comparisons it looks like only about a 2hp difference between an AWD pull and a converted fwd pull. thats according to the info i got from a guy at MD where I bought my dyno who actually has a 2.5RS and has done the back to back tests in house on both an AWD and 2WD unit. I know its a pain in the ass to switch the diffs out, but i figure i'll only really need to do it once to get the tune right. and I usually pull all nighters on the dyno when i really get focused so i would imagine renting an AWD dyno for 24 hours would be a bit on the pricey side.

Default hey, I don't get it

do you not have a center diff or what? I don't get it...If you're just tryin to get your car to be front wheel drive, there is a fuse in the engine compartment fusebox that says FWD. It is empty, if you put a fuse in, your wrx becomes front wheel drive. I hope that saves you time changin out your center diff. Peace,

Default hey

from what I know it works on all subarus that are autos, and ones with turbos. The FWD socket is there, you just gotta plug in the extra fuse(I think the green one)....I think they made it that way in case you get a flat and have different size spares, so you can put the good wheels on the front and not screw up your diffs. Anyways that all I know, other than the fact that if you don't need a center diff, you shouldn't get one Anyways have a nice day,

Default good question

hey bone,
I have no clue, but I wanna go put the fuse in and try to peel out a bit It says in the manual that I can do it, so I think I can Anyways, I was just reporting what I read, not what I tried, I figured it was the truth though. peace,
