EJ20 Engine Management
I would put my vote in the ECUTEK reflash but I personally would hold off until Mastro figures out what they are doing with the whole dyno/ECUTEK setup they have going on. The stock ECU should be fine with most of those mod. My car seems to run a bit rich now with my mods on the OE ECU with after fires on quick shifts from 1st to 2nd and pops here and there when the engine is cold.
I've said it before but I'll say again to leave the intake and BOV off your mods list.

Here is another new option on the very short horizon:

That's $395 for a reflash!!
Available in the near future is the "AccessPort" device that allows you to upload pre-determined maps w/o sending in your ECU. There also will be a be "AccessTuner" device that allows you to tweak the maps yourself.

Please post your findings.
Billy, do you know if anyone in the Tampa area that has a Delta Dash unit?

No, I don't know of anyone with a Delta Dash.
Ok, on to the Cobb stuff....there are 3 products that make up the whole AccessECU thing. First there is the AccessECU which is a reflash done by Cobb, cost is about $350.
The second part is the AccessPort. The AccessPort will allow you to store maps and reflash your ECU using one of your already stored maps. But you cannot manipulate them.
Finally, they final part is the AccessTuner. This will allow you to manipulate and change existing maps as well as make your own.
The AccessECU is already available from Cobb and has been so for about a week or so. They plan on releasing the AccessPort in about 6-8 weeks. And, they have been working on the software for the AccessTuner and MAY be able to release it at the same time as the AccessPort
.
I was told that Cobb will be requiring you to have the AccessPort in order to get the AccessTuner. They don't have firm pricing, but they are aiming to compete with the Utec and other do-it-yourself tuners....so they estimate 900-1000 dollars.
Personally, because of my timetable because of work, etc. I think I am going to try and wait Cobb out and do this.

Billy,
Don't go doing anything yet. It looks like the ECUTEK steps up to the battle with some pretty amazing new features.

Hmmm, I'm not sure how I feel about that. It gives you some control, but not quite the level of control I was looking for. I would really like to be able to tune the car myself, whe I wanted to, how I wanted to....
Oh well, I have some time to think before I do anything anyway...

But the fozzle nozzles would look so good on my car
