Default 2011 Subaru STi update with video

First off let me start by saying this is my first Subaru and can't be happier.

I have been a Nissan guy since the day I could drive and decided it was time for a change.
I got the car on Thanksgiving day in 2011. I was looking at used STi hatches and the wife said, "lets just get you a new one" As soon as the words left her mouth we were headed to the nearest Subaru dealer where I found my Spark Silver sedan with SPT Cat-back already installed. I knew it was mine the minute i sat in the car.

I have never left a car stock so the modding was already in my head before I left the dealer.

Mods installed as of right now:
Cobb AP Stage 2+ (Stage 1 at 900 miles and stage 2 at 3000 miles)
Cobb SF intake with box (900 miles)
Invidia cat-less DP (3000 miles)
SPT CBE (0 miles)
BC Racing coilovers (1500 miles)
15mm spacers (1500 miles)
Stock wheels painted Gloss Black (1000 miles)

I plan on getting Enkei NTo3+M in the next few weeks and slowly getting the parts for a full build.

The day I got her:

Wheels painted:

BC's going on:

As she sits right now:

So much for keeping it stock lol... Did you get a protune for the STG2 or just an OTS map? I want to do the STG2 but I really don't want to void my warranty. Fuck it, STG2 here I come...

I have the Stage 2 OTS map on low wastegate due to the DP being non cat version.

The stage 2+ on this car livens it up big time. Made a huge difference

What effects does the cat vs non-cat have? I'm assuming a lower boost level for the LWG? I've been pricing everything out, already have a Cobb STG1 OTS. I'll be getting a protune if/when I go STG2. I noticed your car was significantly quicker then mine just by watching the tach/speedo. That downpipe really is a garbage design.

If your getting a pro tune when you go stage 2 I would definitely go with catless. I run the LWG map because I don't have the orotund and without the cat it can over boost on the OTS map. When you get your protune I would recommend spending the extra $100 and get the Cobb or Grimspeed 3 port EBC

So, I ordered the parts and set a date to get the car to STG 2 protuned status.

Me too, it'll probably be close to the typical stg2 dyno. More than welcome to come hang out, I'll be getting it dyno'd in TPA on June 23rd.
