I would assume the wrx you purchased would have a tune since you have a header, up-pipe, and cai on the car. But if not I would get one right away to not only maximize horsepower, but to make sure you are safe.

Also, ditch that BOV and go back to stock, or something that offers a recirculation option.

And if you have some extra funds go ahead and pick up some gauges. I would recommend boost, oil pressure, and wideband a/f.

If you're running stock turbo, stock injectors, and stock BCS, you can probably run the Cobb Stage 2 map and be fine, but you'd likely happier with a custom tune for your set up. I haven't looked at the Cobb AP maps available for your car recently, but they may have some off the shelf maps that might work with a CAI.
I have never ever herd anything about anyones car with a BOV needing a tune and running like crap ive had 2 different kinds on my car and have swaped them on the fly without any issues or anything even remotely a small inconvience lol and as far as the other stuff i ran my car for a few months without even knowing i had a catless up pipe with out a single problem and when i first got my down pipe i was running without a tune untill i picked up my ap and other then the cel i didnt have any issues. I Wouldnt suggest running your mods for a long time and beating on your car without a tune But if you are waiting a little bit or are in between mods and and a tune youll be fine just use common sense if something doesnt seem right stop and diagnose.lol i come from experience with that i learned the hard way by my timing belt snaping but that had nothng to do with my mods

1. I do have a boost gauge but no way to monitor afr which is a big concern for me. 2.No cat in the up pipe or down pipe and no CEL; I have an anti fouler in the rear o2 which helps. 3.The blow off valve discussion is up for debate. So the car runs a lil rich during shifts...I don't think that's a deal breaker. The HkS I have can be recirculated if it was imperative but as stated this is up for debate. Btw the car doesn't run like crap and so what if I like the noise. I appreciate all advice. I have been searching on NASIOC quite a bit in the last few months and WILL be getting tuned. The issue has become finding a local tuner and which tuning device to go with. If any one can give me a push in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it. With that being said jcssti6265 and Tampabaytunedinc have taken the time to try and help me and I appreciate their efforts; Whether they believe I need a tune or not they are able to tune nevertheless. I would just like to have a few more options
