Looking for a shop that can tune the UTEC system on my 02 WRX. I have the computer, software installed, MPS UTEC logger, plus wideband AFR that is wired into laptop to be logged. I just need someone that understands the UTEC system that can install my map. I already have a map that's tuned for my car-- we just need to transfer this into the UTEC. Not familiar with the maf voltage offset crap, so I'm lost on how to get this thing working. Also need someone familiar with ignition cut launch control. I though ur car put down 400Whp? Do you have a Utec map? what EM were u using when u put down 400whp.And if u dyno at 400 why make changes cause 400 is pretty high for a 20g on a 2.0.Whats ur set up? Dont take this the wrong way Im just a little confused.

 

I'm confused too........do you need someone to TUNE the car? Or just someone to upload a map and setup LC? If you can read and follow directions then it shouldnt be to hard, its explained in the UTEC manual which you can download on their website. If you feel like driving to Apollo beach I can blow up your car............I mean tune it for you

 

I heard it was on the Pete Stop 2wd dyno, they just multiplied by 2 since its AWD

ok, first thing you have to do is take the keys out of the ignition. get out of the car. go to the nearest smart car dealer and purchase one.....sounds like that is more your speed.

i hated my utec! I was reading and its so easy to hit one wrong number and bye bye motor!

 

^seriously? The utec IMO is so simple it's laughable. The only thing that is different and may be "hard" is that the boost is represented by a number up to 500 instead of being listed in psi. Other then that it's typical mainframe layout
