I am in need of an engine rebuild for my 08 sti. I lost Cyl 2&4 leak down is 80% on them. I am looking for a local shop that can do a rebuild for me, any suggestions?

 

S&R has built a bunch of Suby's lately that have been awesome. I think they've got a few '08's there right now.

Taylor at S&R built my 08 motor after a ringland cracked because the GT35R produced too much power for the stock pistons. Their prices are reasonable and Taylor is a perfectionist engine builder. I run my motor on meth on the street all the time and have had absolutely no issues. Scott Seigel did the tuning (another perfectionist). I highly recommend S&R. PM me if you want more info.

I built mine for around $3500 with 100mm cp pistons, manley rods, acl race bearings, arp headstuds, etc. Price includes removal and install of longblock.
