Default In-dash navi unit advice...

Hey guys, looking for some advice on an in-dash dvd/navigation unit. I've done some research and I'm thinking about a Kenwood DNX 6140. I definitely want navigation and dvd/cd as well as bluetooth (for my BlackBerry). Thoughts/specific recommendations?

I really liked my Pioneer F900BT but it took a good minute or two to load when starting the car.

I have always had the Pioneer AVIC series units in my Subies. And loved them!!!

Plus AVIC411.com is an awesome resource for customizing, installing, etc..

AVIC is the way to go... easy navigation much better than the run-of-the-mill TomTom's and Garmin's etc. and with a simple mod you can watch movies and do all the other locked stuff while moving.I prefer the Avic-D3 for dvd playback, but the d2 is great also since it has 2 drives in it, one for the navigation disk and the other for music etc..

I couldnt agree more!!!

I loved my D2 the most, although they are older and hard to find brand new. The D3 was great but I hated to have to swap the disks.

I then had the BT series and it was ok, but lots of bugs as it was new. I heard they fixed all of them now though. The BT series was great it had harddrive stored maps, USB/Memory card support and built in bluetooth for handsfree.
