i didn't say it was non subaru related. when i said people post no subaru related threads i was not refering to this thread i was refering to threads other people post that are non subaru realted.

 

Well then post in that non-related thread and complain about it, that way there is no misunderstanding. I personally post threads in this section because I only really care to hear opinions of the people I know, or somewhat know, the Subaru community. If my thread gets deleted, its all good. I understand.

Ive been to darkside performance. Guys are really nice. Only thing is, there shop is SOOOO SMALL!

 

its is a real shame that this thread has gotten so off track. there will ALWAYS be someone out there that is bigger and badder than you. there will always be a faster car, a stronger dude, a better fighter, etc.

this is not to say that Darkside is better or worse, especially since i am not familiar except only for the name. what you wont find is any ill words on my behalf, even about other shops with known shady practices (this is not intended against anyone, just a generalization)

what i can say, though, is that i know we are an honest shop, all putting in our part and doing the best that we can. there hasnt been any person, in the entire known history of this planet, that has never made a mistake. hell, even Jesus married a prostitue. what separates the men from the boys, is how mistakes get handled. ideally, they are caught before hand and corrected before the customer even takes delivery of a car. sometimes this isnt always the case.

also, no matter who you are, you cant please every person out there. and because of this, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and recommendations... it would just be nice if some people learned the use of tact before voicing theirs.

as always, though, we welcome anyone who wishes to stop in, meet the crew, and look around. we are an eclectic bunch and operate more like a family than we do a business; which is something i think seems to be lost in today's day and age. everyone here feeds off each other and the shop truly is a group effort.

i'd like to think that any person, as an indiviual, is capable of making intelligent decisions based off of research, experience and good old fashioned common sense and can typically do so without a blight of interjections from an internet peanut gallery with an obvious agenda.

good luck to the OP, and no matter the decisions our customers (or potential customers) make, we will always answer the phones, give the best advice we can and try to help what ever matter comes our way.
