Second guessing the 18G
Yea brotha doin well. Car runs like a beast up here in this cold/dry air. We miss it down there but its kinda nice having different seasons. Were enjoying it now but ask me again in Feb and we'll see if that's changed. Lol.
Not saying his goals are weak. They are actually right in line with what that turbo should make on straight pump (if not a little on the high end). But given his combination of parts I dont see 16-18psi cutting it. My car runs almost the EXACT same parts and I make the power he wants on much more boost.What dyno did you make 317 on 15psi? This was on straight 93 with no meth? What did it trap on that power? I find it hard to believe that you made the same power as cars that run another 4-7psi.
Ive seen video's on youtube of people running an EJ205, 18G, TMIC, Pinks, and fuel pump running 312whp@17psi in denver, colorado. Obviously being at sea level, we are going to make more power. But it also depends on the dyno, you are right. I am aiming for realistically 290-300 on the Mustang, 320-330 on the Dynopak.
Also, CFM also takes control too when it comes to power. at 1 bar, the TD04 makes 380CFM, where at 1 bar on the TD05H-18G, its 605CFM. Obviously more air at the same pressure. More air, + more fuel = more power at the same PSI as the TD04.

Agreed on both counts. Im not trying to hate on him or the setup. Just saying that from my personal experience and seeing the numbers other cars put down, the expectations seemed a little high. Like you said, the car will still be fun though.
I would like to see him go to Fmic,bigger inj than pinks(750cc he will have more than enough)meth.maybe even turboxs fuel rail kit.but I think hes got a lot of the parts already.he said he"ll be happy with 290-300 on a mustang.before my car spun a bearing,at 14-15psi I got 268whp on the mustang.I had that 18g ,750cc,Fmic,255Fp,and fuel rail kit,no meth on strait pump.
