Lots of luck with the car.

That's pretty sweet. Mind if I ask what you got it for?
Oh, and congrats!

Thanks alot! I paid $21k. Its a 2003, Chassis had 34k miles but has fully built block and heads w/ 7k miles on them. Never been to the track. It does have the stock drivetrain but it shifts very well. Stock turbo was on until 2k miles ago. It was garage kept its whole life. It was owned by a 40 year old guy that took extremely good care of the car. AWD Motorsports did almost all the work on the car. Given the condition of the car and the extensive list of mods, I think I got an excellent deal!

Thats sick. Looks like the AMS 37r? The 6262 is the same as the HTA 3586 for the MOST part. Power numbers are very similar. The 6262 will out spool that 37R (unless its a DBB) and make a bit more power with more boost. I as well as Ryu are on stock drive train. No worries. Drive the car correctly, and it will be fine! Make sure you use the correct tranny and T-case fluids!! Change them every 8k miles if you beat the car
But that is really cool. Congrats. She must move!! My car is now apart, turning into my shop car.

Yeah you called it right, its an AMS 37r (Non Dual BB). Mike at AWD said I would produce more HP per pound of boost with the 6262. It looks like everyone is getting great results out of this turbo. The 37r currently has 5 bolt .82 hotside, but I will be going with the .63 since precision doesnt make an .82 5 bolt setup. It should spool much quicker and still put down some sick numbers. Mike said he has seen the .63 put down 680whp on pump and meth. Im shooting for low 500's on just pump. With the 37r and C16 it previously put down 580whp on just 31 psi, with the stock intake manifold and stock throttle body. TTP will be throwing on a Buschur ported intake mani and 65mm TB along with the new turbo next week. I can't wait! Even though there is a substantial amount of lag, it is seriously overated as its still a very streetable car as is.
I cant believe Ryu is on the stock drivetrain, very impressive! I'm working on my shifting and footwork a little as the Exedy triple carbon is a litle different than most. But Im confident the drivetrain will stay together as long as I take care of it.

That is exactly right. Take car of the drivetrain, and it will take care of you. I have a .63 hotside on my 35R. I like it. It still pulls HARD up top. I did 485 on pump tuned by Junior. He will be coming down alot for tunes at my shop. You will benefit from the 3-4 gear since they are longer in the VIII then the IX. Luckyyy
You will EASILY hit 500's on pump. Shit Im stock block and a 35R. If you dont, Come get a tune with us. PM'd by the way.

Nice! How much boost are you running? Yeah my favorite thing about the car is 3-4 gear. Is your shop opened up yet? Where is it located?
Im running 28 psi Spike on pump gas dropping to 26.5-27
It will be opened in a month or so. Just getting everything ready before it happens. Its located in Sarasota. Jason Lee Road, off exit 205. Its right off the exit. We have a porsche shop, and audi/VW shop as a neighbor, Sarasota sound and audio, and a big ol' machine shop across the street.
