It would be a big waste if that wasn't even the problem, I think I'll try and diagnose first.

im sure its broken anyways from your boost levels... and it literally takes 2 mins so its not a waste.. have you ever boost leak tested your car?

Nope, I've never had a problem with hitting target boost. Should get on that though.

turbos will compensate to hit target boost doesnt mean you dont have a boost leak though... $5 says you have at least one even if its small

no just saying you should always make sure you dont have a boost leak especially before you get a tune

had the same code loose gas cap i replaced my cap and it didnt fix the problem i just turned the code off so it wont come on any more.

lol the only codes I'll do that is for my rear o2 sensor and tgv's. Other than that, if you got a cel, there's a reason for it. Whatever my reason is, its causing a lean issue at idle.

You will see a decrease in fuel efficiency. A certain percentage of fuel in every tank you use will evaporate and if you vent the evap line to atmosphere instead of the IM, it will be wasted. FWIW, with my "small" leak I am seeing 1-2mpg less per tank.
