Default Cosworth Intake Manifold

I'm sure no one here has one, in fact, I don't even know anyone on iwsti or nasioc that has gotten one either. But I was looking into this piece for later on in the future. Is it even worth the ~$950 for only a 10% increase in airflow? It definitely cleans up the engine bay, other than that, it just doesn't seem to be worth the price.

Cosworth -

Opinions?

We got one yesterday that we'll be testing in the next few weeks...

there has been one good before and after with comparison write up on nasioc. Cosworth Manifold/ GT30R Testing... - NASIOC

From the testing you can see the manifold makes a loss of power for the vast majority of the powerband. It does start to come alive in the top end (showing its designed for elevated RPM use) and would also perform better with a longer duration cam.

Pretty sure Surgeline tunning here in Oregon has a few. Both on the surgeline cars.

With my setup, I would definitely see better results with a meth kit. Doesn't seem like I would even make power with the piece.
