Thumbs down Out of Commission for awhile

As you can see from the picture, I won't be attending any meets/cruises, etc for the next 12 weeks. I suffered a broken leg last week while wakeboarding. Both the Tibia and Fibula were subjected to spiral fractures when I wiped out and the boot did not give. I guess something had too and it was my leg. Surgery went well, I had two plates and 13 screws put in my leg. Stitches come out in two weeks and move to an air boot. Still, no weight bearing for 10 weeks after

I can only blame myself for trying to act like an indestructable 20 year old. I guess any power mods will be on hold for future . (A new Walbro was sitting at the front door when I got home from Tampa General)

It'll buff out.

I hope you get better, I remember when my dad snapped his ankle and he was out of commission for quite a while too.

Sorry to hear man. Yep, no more wakeboarding for me. Wait, you were acting 20? Ok good, I'm alright for awhile.

Yeah, 37 year old's trying to pull off tantrums usually results in injury. I used to sprain my ankles all the time but with the advancement of the boot, the ankle no longer gives thus "High Boot Break".

Worst part yet is going cold turkey on smoking. The lower part of the leg already has poor blood circulation and smoking will only impede the healing process.

I can't even drive my fucking car for the next 12 weeks!

Come on man... even a rookie could install a walbro with one leg... pffffff

Sucks man, Good luck! Maybe you could talk the old lady into installing the fp.
