So I'm now the proud owner of a 2006 Evo IX SE. Just picked it up today. 
It has a few things done already:
-Upper engine torque damper
-Lower engine mount
-ACT HDSS flywheel
-ACT HDSS Clutch
-Bilstein shocks
-Swift springs
-Defi Boost gauge
-Intake
-Exhaust
-Tune
For those of you remember from a few years ago...my husband bought this in October of 2006 but had to sell for financial reasons. We sold it to a friend and just bought it back from him today. He will be purchasing a 335i. It's good to have it back.

nice! good choice! how much better does it feel then the wrx? and if you dont mind how much did you get it for and miles?

OMG, it's night and day honestly. Plus I have the bc racing coilovers and I'm tired of the rough ride. The bilsteins are fantastic. Has 48k. We got it for 23k...originally bought it for 33k in '06. lol Now it's nicely modded and has a much lower payment.
It's our 3rd car so I will be taking advantage.

ah geez another lancer thread... j/k. Thats really cool that even though you had to sell it you were lucky enough to sell it to a friend and then buy it back when you could.

Yeah, I still have my wrx. I was originally going to sell mine but couldn't give it up. lol
My original choice was an evo also but they were douche bags and also wouldn't let me drive it. I drove both the sti and wrx limited and decided I liked the limited alot more. Had I bought the car in '07 I would've gotten the sti limited.

that is a nice way to sell and buy a car. get it back with more mods and cheaper. and you at least know who owned it so i would imagine it was taken car of.
you should go talk to ryu and add meth and head studs. then it will be really fun.

It actually had meth and he beat a C6 vette. It was ridiculous. He had issues with the kit so he ended up selling it.
