But seriously... where are you finding these good deals on VF39s... nasioc?

haha yeah i refuse to shift like that. so ill be okay in that area.

i found a couple where i live now...in Virginia so its locally for me.

youll be fine with a VF39. I've got alot more power than that, probably drive harder than you, and my tranny's holding up fine with 90k on it. And I've got the weakest tranny here

lol here we go....

okay, if i was YOU, id go with a PPG setup. 1-2 straight cut 3-4 helix.

Also, if i was YOU, id focus on the weak points first. ie, Tranny! whats the point in upgradeing your turbo, HP, TQ.... if your going to always have the "I might blow this tranny on my mind"

if you are scared of blowing the motor or breaking something, then don't mod it....especially with that many miles

okay so i am going to go through with it and get a vf39, and start collecting supporting mods over a couple of months. Virgina local where i am going to school has one. now I know they are prone to hair line cracking and w/e but heard it doesn't really matter and doesn't effect performance. Right? second, seller says no shaft play nothing wrong just been sitting in his garage for a while and dusty/dirty. he wants $250. 30-40K miles. I am supposed to go over tonight and look at it. here is the link...

FS: VF-39 turbo - NASIOC

what do you guys think???

ps. please dont pm him asking to buy it lol.

Lol... Seriously I agree with everybody def focus on beefing the tranny or replacing it wrx trannys are well known to blow or shatter. Racer x is right wrx trannys are like glass...
