what to do
so in my wreck where the guy hit the side of my car, he bent my front wheel bad enough that it can't be fixed. insurance offered to only replace that one wheel, when they were discontinued about 3 years ago. what do you know, they can't find one. so do they honestly expect me to fork out MY money for 3 other wheels?? so do you think there i can get them to pay for 4 new ones??
i thought insurance would only offer to pay for one FACTORY wheel. so i dont think you can get them to pay for 4 new wheels.
Insurance usually covers the factory parts on the car. Like for instance, i put the VQ motor into my Sentra. If I were to get into a wreck and the motor was destroyed, insurance would pay for an original factory motor that came with the Sentra. So I wouldn't expect to get your insurance company to purchase you four new aftermarket wheels.

Yeah, part of repairing a car after a wreck is repairing it to pre-accident conditions. Including having all 4 wheels match. Since your current wheels are discontinued I would definitely push for all four (or the cash). Best of luck. I hope it works out.
