gauge could be off a little bit... other than that, I can't really think of what would be happening other than one of the lines to the wastegate being off/melted/damaged

were you low on fuel? cause if you were and wot the fuels going to the back of the tank... so in other words the pump could not have pushed any fuel into the injectors
