+1 for doing your own work, if you're able to!

so i found my leak, it is not an injector, its a 2" piece of host that connects two parts of hard fuel line. problem is is that it is directly behind the ac compressor, but i can see the whole hose and where its spraying from. is it possible to unbolt the compressor and just pull it up about 3-4" so i can replace that hose? that way i can access it 100% without pulling the mani.

yes you can unbolt the compressor. There are 2 bolts top and 2 bolts bottom that hold the compressor onto the alt. mount. They are horizontal from the drivers side to the passenger side. Undo them and swing the compressor out of the way.
