radiator???

Default radiator???

today i did a 1st thru 3rd pull and after that there was coolant everywhere anyone have any reason this might happen it looked as if it was coming from the cap on the radiator but not sure since it just happened about an hour ago its to dark to see for sure but coolant is everywhere it sprayed up on the winshied when it happened

well if it came out the cap on the radiator and exploded everywhere you could have a bad radiator cap (i.e. it gets stuck open)

you beat me to the update when i got back to my car i started it up to see if i could see anything leaks steam or whatever right under the cap between the plastic and the metal of the radiator not the cap there were air bubbles coming out so i guess ill need new radiator eBay Motors: CXRacing Alum Radiator 02-07 IMPREZA WRX STi 2.0 2.5 MT (item 190268203379 end time Nov-27-08 11:15:00 PST)

think this one would be ok kinda tight on cash and how hard are they to put in

does it leak where the cap is or is the metal on the radiator actually cracked? if its where the cap is you may only need a new cap

If you do actually need a new radiator itself I would look at the mishimoto radiator. S&R Performance is actually a dealer for mishimoto so they can get it locally for you. good looking on the mishimoto i think they wanted $450 on ebay the air bubbles were coming from the metal and the plastic on the top i didnt notice any cracks but it was still dark. so if the actual core is leaking it has to be replaced right? im gonna go look at it now should be able to see somthin ill let you know in an hour ill take some pics of where i see the bubbles

mine cracked on the plastic part as well, sprayed everywhere but couldn't see the crack at first because it was so small. didn't find it for like 2 weeks
