i would be down to organize the event... :throws hat into ring:
it would have to be a month or so, or atleast until we could figure out some type of special privilages for winners. maybe we could have a local shop sponsor the event and give a free oil change? just throwing out ideas.. or get some TR stickers. anyone with a good (and feasible) idea plz post it up.
i figure we would have someone (possibly me) accept nominations from everyone via PM or maybe a thread. then once its time to vote on the final 10 cars that recieved the most nominations we set up a poll thread for those 10 cars, and obviously someone would have to be able to monitor the polls in order to restrict votes to TR members of atleast 30 days and not duplicates, etc..

Well I can definitely monitor the polls. You can do it the same way the tr car of the month is being done. As far as prizes......unless people want to donate then there wont be any, lol. I think it is good enough just having bragging rights or what not.........maybe at the end of the year you can take a poll on all the cars that made it and decide on a Suby of the year or mvp......

another idea, at the end of the 12 months we'll put together a banquet/event/meet/show where the 12 SOTM will be parked together and we can do voting in person. I'm sure at a REAL event we can get some sponsorship and possibly have some real awards and such. Obviously this is a very ambitious idea and will require a lot of organization and effort, but we've got a year to put it together!
