im gonna guess its tuned in the ecu. So going under the hood and turning the knob is not really an option.

yeah my money is on colder weather... like 3gsucks said is it holding 22psi to redline or tapering down? if your wastegate was stuck open i would imagine it would hit more than 22psi. also like another said there is no magic boost level. It's all about where in the RPM band and under what load you are hitting the boost.

I do that well to often. Half read something then give my .02 cents.

scott tuned it for 20.5 tapering to 20. and its been perfect. it holds boost fine, np with that at all. and im fine with it being the cold air, i was just told anything over 21psi is pushing my luck, im right at 22. only reason i was worried. the car runs great. i wish there was a damn fix for my REALLY ANNOYING EBCS. my god, the damn thing ticks, and its loud. and i can hear it in my dreams now.

edit: yeah, opensource tune. no boost controller. i need to get a turbo timer. other than my gauges, i like a stock looking interior. i guess im gonna put the turbo timer in my center console, hook it to the e brake!

If you have a Tactrix cable I can e-mail you a map with more air-temp wastegaste compensation...

just e-mail me at siegelracing@gmail.com with what temperatures it's overshooting at and I'll e-mail you a map.

make sure the ebcs isn't near or touching any metal.......if you wrap it with somethig dense it won't be so loud but you really shouldn't here it too loud if it's not attached to metal

SpecV did you reuse the rubber grommet to mount it?

Without it or "metal to metal" is loud.
