Motul 300 or Extra-S?
is that time again for my tranny to get new fluid. ive been running the uncle scotty's mix for a few thousand miles and it ran good in the beggining but its been kinda rough in the past few months. so u guys running either one of these, what ya think?

hopefully Manny could hook me up with a good deal in getting some Extra-S if i decide to go w it

Yea, I agree. I'm running Mobil 1 Synthetic but I've heard great things about the Extra-S. When you find out how much it is, let me know.

 

well the Extra-S is sold on 50lb buckets for like $140. but i hope they can hook me up w just what i need.

 

I know at one point Manny posted on here to bring your own container and he could sell it by the quart...not sure if they can still do that though.

 

I called Mastero Subaru in Tampa and they want total of $60 for the extra-s, and some other one for the rear diff, they have it in one gallon bottles i think.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I'm running the Motul in tranny and diffs. Manny hooked me up.

 

I run motul brake fluid and engine oil and love the stuff... I'm sure they wouldn't make crappy tranny fluid. Whatever you do, I would suggest at least running .5 quart of redline shockproof in there.
