yo u wanna split? I'm about to order extra-s from Subaru 75w90 "Extra S" Synthetic Gear & Transmission Fluid - Quart Bottle, can save some $ on shipping
$65 x5 quarts

The 6MT uses 4.3 quarts so you'll need 5 bottles. The 5MT uses 3.8 quarts so you'll need 4 bottles.

u can bring ur own container to Mastro and get it from them for about the same price im sure.
im going to try draining 1qt of the Valvoline and add 1qt of Synchromesh to see how it feels. then im going w Extra-S for sure.

well i just added the Synchromesh to the mix. 2/3 of Valvoline 75w-90 ,and 1/3 Synchromesh and shifting gears feels great! specially no more grinding on 4th. im going to see how long it last. but im definetly consider in using Extra-S for my next fluid change.

so far so good man. its shifts great in all gears. feels better than with the cocktail. i think the shockproof wasnt helping at all, plus that might have been the cause for so much metal shavings from the synchros. i noticed that the shockproof is not made for synchros so thats why i decided not to use it again and just use some synchromesh

Quick update on the Motul: Put over 8,000m since tranny fluid change and sometimes finding reverse can be a bitch. Going thru the foward gears is sweet but reverse sucks, no matter if it's cold start or up to temp.
