Should I get it tuned ?????
the best option is a lot more water in the coolant mixture, combined with royal purple "purple ice" and thinner oil (within safety range). Also, look at heat wrapping and increasing ventilation under the hood.
unfortanately you can not reflash the stock ecu. ultimately tuning really wont increase the power by much on a n/a car. the only tuning tool i can think of is a apex AFC, but the amount of hp increase would not be worth expense.
your car should run fine on the parts and stock ecu.
changing the thermostat in the car will not hurt it and could help out.

Pm me about Subaru Tuning
I might be new to the Subaru but not to cars.
A thermostat will make the engine run cooler, if the coolant system can handle it. Most after market mods will change the calibration of the stock ECU and additional gains can be made from "tuning" the stock program.
I am just not sure how to modify the ECU in my car.
Is the a EPROM that can be burned and then plugged in?
Any helpful replies would be appreciated.
