Default Ebay TMIC

I know the deal w/ peoples views on ebay tmics, but I was wondering if anyone has any real world experience w/ them. I'm thinking about running one on my Stage II 03' WRX because the stock one heat soaks so bad. Stock STi tmic would be prefered but they're a little expensive and not as plentiful. I was looking at something like this eBay Motors: 02-06 SUBARU WRX/STI TMIC Top mount Intercooler Kit (item 250297636432 end time Sep-27-08 17:45:00 PDT) or eBay Motors: 02-06 IMPREZA WRX/STI TOP MOUNT TURBO INTERCOOLER TMIC (item 250296658287 end time Sep-24-08 18:18:04 PDT)

Also I am going to be running the stock WRX splitter and scoop for a little while until I can grab a JDM STi scoop and splitter.

It is hit or miss with Ebay Intercoolers. Some work just fine and some may have hairline cracks causing pressure loss. I was thinking of going this route, but decided to buy a used TMIC that I know has a proven track record. Just read the fine print and remember that you are paying an additional $40 plus to have it shipped.

And just like clean teg said, that looks awfully similar to Process West. Go to Mastro in Tampa and look at the Process West in the parts showroom and you'll see what I'm talking about.
