Default Meth injection on td04?

I just installed the Cobb AP, stage 2 last night. (Catless Megan DP, STi catback) The car feels alive now but I was wondering is Meth injection worthwhile on the stock snail. I plan on installing an MRT TMIC and PnP exhaust manifild this week before my Gadiel Protune. Should I bother with meth or just wait until I go with a bigger turbo (TD06 20G)? New turbo is atleast a year away, plus I need injectors and fp.

as far as ive heard, the td04 reaches max efficiency around 18psi. Boosting more psi with meth on the turbo would make me think it wouldn't help that much.

not really sure if its worth it Rob. for the money, just get you a VF39 or 34 to hold you over until you get back to your 20g. then add the meth

its almost like the good ole days, Rob is going to have a 2.5L 20g beast of a wagon

Good point, but what we always used to say, meth what you got. The good thing about the system is that it can still be used, with better results, when you get the bigger turbo. The torque would be awesome for a couple thousand rpms on the td04.

eh, I like fast, stock turbo cars. I would say you should port the TD04 and get meth. You'll enjoy it for a while, and when you're ready to upgrade, a ported TD04 is easy to sell!

I think you should go for it. It's kind of like when people upgrade the stock fuel pump and then eventually go for a larger turbo/injectors, if nothing else you'll have if you decide to go bigger. P&P the stock turbo is a good move as well. I have a Monster P&P TD-04 and it's great a great daily driver turbo. It spools great and I don't have to deal with upgrading the fuel system, intercooler etc.
