Relax dude, this is me you're talking to. I'm just fucking with you. Come-on though Joe you can't honestly believe that Utec is the best out there, do you? I've had Ecutec and Cobb, and I currently have Cobb, but just because I have it doesn't make it the best. It's just the platform I use that's all.
Also, times are not everything. SS never claimed to be the fastest, he was safe and wasn't shy about disclaiming that. Everyone knew that his tunes were solid, quick and most importantly safe. That's all I cared about.
Nobody's dumping on you bud, there's just other ways of doing things that's all.

I didn't say Utec was the best. IMO Hydra and AEM are the best. But in your statement you were making UTEC out to be an inferior product and the fact that Gadiel prefers it makes his tuning questionable. I had to correct you man because what you said wasn't accurate and people would be misled by reading that. I still love you though Jeff
I personally have cobb right now on my setup, but I will be switching to UTEC for the 35r setup.And you are right.....SS never claimed to be the fastest. Safe is good but there is a difference between being safe and leaving way to much on the table and underpowered. SS is a good tuner, just not aggressive enough for me.

Just seems like a shady business all together and I would never do business with them.... sure get pissed that I said this and tell us all about how great Gadiel is and how he has tuned the fastest Sti (in a straight line ). You were one of the guys whose car was dynoed........for free because that horrible shop threw a FREE dyno day, food, and prizes. You were one of the cars that got on after the sensor started going bad, which no one knew it was. So, you were told the car was lean and pulled from the dyno. Maybe they should have just let your car continue doing pulls or not suggested a tune at that point when they assumed the afr's were truly lean......that's what a good shop would have done right? They posted up as soon as they knew that the sensor messed up. In no way was it an attempt to trick you into getting tuned by Gadiel . Do you really think Gadiel needs one more car to tune that bad and you have the nerve to complain about it. As far as Gadiel, you can do your research on him or just keep looking like an ass when you talk shit. I do not work for BVP nor do I get paid, Victor and Gadiel are friends and damn great people. If you don't like me recommending Gadiel or BVP then ignore my post but don't bitch to me about it.

its common sense Gadiel knows his shit, look at the cars he has tuned and/or built. they all make amazing #'s. as far as SS, he will keep your car on a safe tune. he can push the car if you ask him, he did for mine and it ran amazingly strong. never tracked it but know the cars i beat. i think one big difference in the tuners is Gadiel knows drag racing, SS does road racing. never drag raced. i think that gives Gadiel an edge when it comes tuning cars in that fashion.

I've heard both bad and good about BVP. I want to check them out someday because it seems like they are the only ones who know whats going on, then i hear a bunch off bad stuff about a owners kid taking joyrids in cars and stuff... I'll have to feel it out myself i guess. Sometimes i hate reading opinions on forums becaues usually it is the bad that gets the most attention...
It seems klike Meth can work on any setup as long as tuning is taken care of to take advantage of it. Maybee Meth on a otherwise stock 08 STi would be a good idea??? or at least a stage 2
