I usually lay on my back and with both feet kick the bottom or top of the tire very hard. Always does the trick

Ok. Turns out that no human amount of kicking was going to do it. I tried putting the nuts on loosely and lowering the car on the ground. Drove the car like that with the wheel turned all the way. Didn't budge. Shit was superglued. Finally I got the jack jammed between the chasis and the wheel and turned the wheel slowly against it until it broke free. I've changed many a tire in my day and this one was certainly the toughest.

super glue huh? that sucks, I would have gotten impatient and started pounding on it with a rubber mallet like a jackass and probably snapped a stud

Yeah man thats a good idea, sounds like the first time I did rear brakes. Spent a good 5 mins trying to figure out why the rotor wouldnt release. Ebrake - drrrr. Wow did I feel dumb. Congrats on your triumph though
