I don't think there is any interest in this forum. This is the second year I have posted about it and the level of interest is the same...

zero.

Last year people blamed the cost as the reason. I can't make sesne of it though. This forum is quick to drop that kind of cash on HID headlighs & lower lips but is uncomfortable with spending it to drive.

Nowhere in the SE have I seen $300 for 8 hours of go-at-your-own-pace fun on a "real" road course. It is a serious bargin.

Sebring is a WORLD famous track that offers 50 years of hertitage that a parking lot with traffic cones cannot. I just can't make sense of it.

 

Hmm ok well I'll see what SAFE says when the Hostmaster gets back to me. I have been to Sebring several times with my old STI and it was a blast every time. But unless you have attended an event like that personally its hard to explain the benefit of experience and skill you get for the money that is paid. I'll post up openings if any are still available.

 

i will look for you there. I am eager to see your ride in person if that is it in your sig..

last year the spots filled quickly and there were only about 65 of them. thats the cool thing people don't realize. spread 20 or 30 cars out at sebring and at times it seems like you are the only one on the track

this is as laid back as it gets

... no doubt on the thrill gained my a time like this. it is priceless

 

Ok I heard back and spots are still open just an FYI...

*I'll fill out the forms and send them in so I should see you there. I've been there with the BMWCCA/PCOA and with Chin Motorsports before so I'll give SAFE a try and see how they do. Once I get the Forester tuned the weekend prior I should be good to go at Sebring so hopefully it will perform like my old STI did so we'll see?!
