if he does not mod it, a subaru is a great car to own not even not knowing about the car. i was at the dealership gettin my car and this girl and her dad were there and he told her get whatever you want. so the salesman showed her an 05 black sti she said it was ugly, but she like the 2000 civic. no moral to the story. just upset i cant afford an sti.

 

That sucks... I just can't buy that your not that knowledgeable about cars? Most that have a S2000 know the car, and I would assume about other cars to say the least. You bought at best an impreza, and WRX's/STI's don't have "bulges" in the hood, but rather a hood scoop for the inter cooler. Can you take a few pic's and post the car up, so we can help you out with this mystery?

1. no STI comes in an automatic
2. the hoodscoop should have an intercooler under it that says STI in red (although its possible to swap an sti intercooler in as well)
3. Does it have HIDs? if not, its not an sti (although we already knew that by the transmission)

end all, you got fucked over. Take it back ASAP and if they wont take it back, get a lawyer and sue them.

Damn it, well thanks for the info, I will take it back and print out what I can find showing them that its not a true WRX or STi. I think I will go beat the crap out of that lieing salesman to after I get the money and my car back. Ill get back on here and let you know what happened later.

 

Where did you buy this car? If you signed the papers, you will have a hard time getting your money back.
