need some advice
have fun taking in 120+ degrees in intake heat.... thats what you want for a turbo car? dont buy a shirt ram theyre the worst mod you can buy
yeah that's no good, i never believed in short ram's anyways, waste of money imo, only good for driving in the rain, even then a bypass valve would still be better.

I actually have the short ram and was tuned by scott. You can ask him for advice. CAI's do not work well with the stock ecu. Short rams do. You can do the math of a stock sti vs a stock sti with K&N sr intake. Don't just copy what people say in forums. If you have had actual experience with a SR and have something bad to say then say it.

i also have he k&n short ram. i have had no problems or decrease in performance since installing it a year ago. by the time that air hits your throttle body it's already at 120 degrees with the stock airbox..
well, we went from helping a guy buy a subie to arguing about cai and sri...
when you check out the car make sure the car shifts through the gears without problems and make sure the clutch is firm with no slippage. check for the service engine light. the tranny and clutch are the main things that cause problems in our cars .
the less modified the car is the more durable it will be.. look for aftermarket intake, exhaust, etc.
