what year wrx do you have? if you have a 2.5L the vf39 is still a bit small in my opinion but better than what you have now...if you have a 2.0L its good for the 11's with a good driver and supporting setup. The STi injectors are sidefeeds instead of top feeds though...the vf43 is a newer sti turbo that is a bit nicer too.

Pinks are top feeds.

ok, I think he is reffering to usdm sti's not jdm...or at least I was hence no comment on vf37 or vf30's which were accomodated by sti pinks which, yes are top feeds...the 07+ are top feed too IIRC

so just the sti turbo and injectors or will it be better to just get the sti injectors also? Who is the best local tuner around here?

to upgrade the turbo, shouldnt he upgrade the I/C too? or is that just optional/recommended?

its recommended but not needed unless he plans to go above 15 or so lbs...I would recommend it as it will always give more power through higher air density
